About Backwoods Preserve Whitetails
I was born and raised in Northern Indiana, grew up hunting and trapping. Eventually going on hunting trips with my father in Alaska, Canada, Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado. Eventually moving to Colorado working for an Outfitter, guiding hunts for Elk, Mule Deer, Mountain lions, Moose, and Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep, also taking fishermen into high mountain lakes.
Coming back to Indiana, I joined in a partnership with my father in the farming business and decided to get into the hunting ranch and deer business. Now twenty plus years later, with at times over 200 plus deer we are one of the oldest deer hunting preserves in Indiana. It's still exciting to raise and hunt whitetails here in my home state of Indiana.
